After almost 100 years from the beginning of the First World War there are not many places in Italy that conserve traces of that historical period. On the Dolomites mountains and in particular on the Val di Fassa  - the war frontline that divided Italy from the Austrians territories - there are still many evidences of the conflict and the difficult living conditions that the soldiers were obliged to deal with.
